Coffee, Cakes, Chatter and More raising awareness of Dementia in Cotterstock
You are invited to join us as we raise awareness of dementia at a coffee and cakes morning in Cotterstock Village Hall on Tuesday 20th October at 10.00 – 12.30 p.m. This is not just for people suffering from dementia and their carers, but for anyone who would like to learn more or just fancies a drink and a slice of homemade cake. The following will be available:
A talk by Natalie Wattam, one of Northamptonshire’s Admiral Nurses.
A taster session with Helen Ward an experienced music therapist
An occupational therapist to consult.
Advice on benefits and other services.
Max Robinson, manager at Oundle Library who will introduce games, puzzles and activities which might be helpful.
People available generally to chat
The morning is intended to be very relaxed with visitors able to access as much or as little as they wish all for £3 (cash only); a very warm welcome is guaranteed.
